Watching Cass McCombs live is not altogether different from listening to Cass McCombs in my apartment because all the lights except for this rather sparkly, Lite-Brite-esque backdrop are, you know, off, and it’s all very downtempo and quiet and sort of very, very sad.
Jealous that you went. I almost did but I just didn’t feel like making the trek to the Ottobar.
